EPFL EMBA Students Discuss Innovation and Entrepreneurship in China

A Reception for EPFL EMBA Management of Technology students was held at the Residence on June 20th, 2013. The event is part of their study module in China.

Students will spend two weeks in Beijing and Shanghai, visiting companies and learning about the business, entrepreneurial and innovation environment in China. For most of the students it is their first experience in China, and everybody was curious to discover the country.

Ambassador Jacques de Watteville was invited to brief the students about the role of the Swiss Embassy and the Sino-Swiss diplomatic relations.

Science and Technology Counsellor Nektarios Palaskas shared the latest academic and research trends.

EPFL Alumni Olivier Glauser talked about innovation and entrepreneurship in China. His presentation is available online:

The presentations were followed by some drinks and snack, where students further discussed innovation, entrepreneurship, and their experience in China.
